ISE 2019 mapping installation
HeavyM at ISE 2019
Invited to the booth of video projector manufacturer Optoma, we presented our HeavyM software at the ISE 2019 exhibition. In collaboration with Büro23, we created an original video mapping installation to highlight the product’s features: easy-to-use interface, integrated visual effects, sound analysis, and MIDI and OSC control.
The ISE is a huge 3-day trade fair for European audiovisual professionals. They were particularly impressed by HeavyM. The ease of use of the software was impressive. The speed to deploy a video mapping with a professional rendering is a real asset.
Details of the ISE booth
Then, the projector used is an Optoma ZU1050. This is a FUll HD laser model with 10,000 lumens. It is a high-end projector that offers an exceptional image quality. It was placed on the side to cover the entire structure from top to bottom.
Finally, for the projected visuals, we used almost exclusively integrated HeavyM effects. The wide choice offered by the effects library allowed us to offer ISE visitors to several different environments. In order to show that HeavyM can also project external content, we asked Eka Studio to design a custom video loop to create a wahoo effect. We perfectly mapped this loop with HeavyM’s advanced warping tool.
Our installation at the ISE 2019 was a real success and the feedback was super positive!

A modular design kit
Olga is a set of 30 equilateral triangles that you can connect to create 3D projection mapping surfaces. The kit contains 3×5 triangles, 3×2 triangles, 5×1 triangle, and 60 fixing rods. The kit is easy to assemble and reassemble to create different shapes for stage decoration.
